RACE 3: #8 SOUL FLIGHT is a big longshot that deserves respect in this wide-open claiming sprint race. This is Randi Persaud 2nd start with this horse after claiming him for 16k. Now Persaud takes this horse from a route to a sprint, and in the last year - Persaud has a $9.00 ROI+ when doing this! At 12/1 Odds, this horse demands some attention. #2 FUTURE BOOK was a $150k purchase as a 2-year-old and now finds himself in a 25k tag. This one sure has the class edge over these and should relish the much easier competition. When Maker/Ortiz team up, they win 27% of the time.
RACE 4: #6 AJHAR is a horse that will be making his first start in the Pletcher barn, as he came over from Kiaran. Ajhar is a royally bred horse that the Shadwell purchased for 800k. Now finally gets a field he can handle and has been training well leading into this. Ortiz and Pletcher win 28% of the time. #7 COUSIN ANDREW has been very close to breaking his maiden in both starts and now will try again in start number three. This Chad Brown-trained horse seems like the longer they go, the more he enjoys running. Brown wins 26% of his starts in MSW company.
RACE 5: #5 SPICE IS NICE comes over back to allowance company after facing two tough stakes fields at Gulfstream Park. The way this horse broke his maiden at Gulfstream on his first start was as impressive race as I saw all year. The horse has much potential and will be using this race as a confidence builder. Pletcher finds the perfect spot for him and now should easily get his second win. BEST BET OF THE DAY.

RACE 8: #2 NO WORD,  broke his maiden last year at first asking at Saratoga,  stepped up in a Grade 3 race after his debut.  This is his second start of the year, finish 3rd in his 3yr old comeback, will appreciate the added distance, fired a bullet workout on May 31 at Pbd 48.1 (1 of 9), he is listed at 6-1 morning line, you may get him at 8-1. When Pletcher and Ortiz team up, they win 20% of the time! #4 VALUE ENGINEERING is a Chad Brown horse that has been off since September 2019. The distance should be no issue and coming off the bench fresh for Chad, has been money this Belmont. Must respect and will demand betting attention.

RACE 9: #4 SIR WINSTON is the horse to beat, however, I do like the value the #1 PROMPT provides you in this spot. With Junior back on board,  he is 1 for 1  at Belmont,  should sit a stalking trip behind Moretti, and Prompt is listed at 20-1 in the morning line.  Sir Winston will go even money as on paper he is the horse to beat. This is Prompt's 3rd start of the year and should be sitting on a big effort.  Prompt wants the distance for sure. It can hit the board at a big price.
