GULFSTREAM PARK JUNE 13 2020 :
PICK 6 BREAKDOWN
RACE 7: #12 LEADING WEST is making the first time start for with trainer Michael Maker for owner Michael Dubb. Leading West now catches a much weaker maiden field then he usually races against and should relish finally being back on the turf. The horse should get a nice stalking trip. When maker and Zayas team up they have $2.80 ROI. #1 ALASTOR is a first-time starter in here you must respect for Saffie. #3 CONSTITUTIONAL PAL is getting the services of jockey Paco Lopez and should be closer to the pace because of this.
RACE 8: #8 MAN WITH A PLAN was a nice claim for D'Angelo, who excels with horses first time start off the claim. He wins 41% off the claim! With horses that won their last start, D'Angelo wins 48% of their next start with an ROI of $2.86. #6 VINCENT WILLIAM also is dropping in class and must be used for Rivelli. On 6 furlongs dirt races, Larry wins 33% of the time and has an $2.00 ROI.
RACE 9: #10 MORNING STRIDE is making his first start right back into the same tag, for new trainer Sancal. Sancal off the claim wins 50% of the time and has an ROI of $4.87. When taking a horse from dirt to turf, Sancal ROI is $9.51. With one-mile turf events, Sancal ROI is $4.19. All across the board Morning Stride looks like he should run just as big as he did last time out. This horse has back-class and has the momentum going for him. #9 GRAND NENUCO is a horse with a big-time shot this race for D'Angelo. The horse was racing in the starters and now drops back down to straight claimers. Must use and respect in all pick 6 tickets.
RACE 11: #4 DIAMOND OOPS last race was in the Pegasus World Cup and he ran a respectable 4th in that big event. Now comes right back to an overnight handicap race and this should be nothing more than a public workout. The horse stands way over the rest of the field and easily can be a single in this pick 6 sequence. Patrick Biancone wins 17% of horses off a layoff of 61-180 days with a $2.46 ROI. #9 MATH WIZARD also has a lot of back class and can be one to throw in for an upset, as he is probably the main danger for Diamond Oops.
RACE 12: #1 JUST KIDDING is now making first start off the claim for Saffie. Horse has been running well in the AOC 16k races and now drops to half the tag for John Fanelli. I would not be shocked to see this horse singled in many tickets as well. Horse has the rail, has Paco and the class edge to get the win in this lower level claiming race. Saffie in claiming races wins 31% of the time, off the claim, wins 36% of the time, and on the mile distance on the dirt, he wins 30% of the time with a $2.36 ROI.
